SiLibeads achieve a longer lasting water well flow

Up to now, to support the boreholes for the production of water, only sand and gravel have been used in accordance to DIN 4924, as filling material of the annulus between borehole wall and filter pipe.

This natural available material is now becoming rare and the quality is no longer sufficient in respect to the minimum demands of modern well construction. We are convinced in search of alternatives, that we have discovered, that glass beads are the ideal filling- respectively support material of progressive well construction.

We have started a common project, together with Ochs Bohrgesellschaft GmbH, to predominantly reduce the iron - and manganese contamination. Successfully, this will lead to an extensive saving of regeneration costs. The project will be sponsored through the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology on the basis of a decision made by the German Parliament.
