Applications of SiLibeads Type GZ

SiLibeads Type GZ glass ceramic beads with an approximate Zirconia proportion of 10 % show excellent performance features in conventional grinding systems. Regardless of the type of mill used (vertical or horizontal), this type of beads can be used without any problems. SiLibeads Type GZ are recommended especially in grinding systems with low and medium viscosity ranges as well as for applications with a question of costs. That means because of the excellent cost-benefit-ratio it is much cheaper to use SiLibeads Type GZ than other high quality ceramic beads.

The innovative production process guarantees a pure and bubble free bead quality. Bead breakage and consequently contamination, as well as damage to the grinding suspension and mill, are therefore extremely low.

SiLibeads Type GZ are especially suited for:

• preparation and grinding of CaCO3
• wet grinding of TiO2 and Kaolin
• grinding of organic and inorganic pigments as well as of paint and coatings systems in a low or medium viscosity- and solid material ranges
