Girls and boys – Future

The Girls’ Day pursues the plan to motivate girls and young women to choose a technical or scientific profession. The goal is to increase the amount of female employees for the so called “male professions” and shall thus counteract the predicted skill shortage in the future.

The Boys’ Day has been introduced as a pendant to the Girls’ Day and is targeted to motivate boys and young men to choose typical “female professions”.

Since 2015 SiLi has taken parts at this event and opens its laboratory, production and office to interested girls and boys and allows them to get an insight into the interesting vocational work at SiLi.
